I am a historian specialising in medieval history and cultural history. My interests are varied and range from works on (witch)trials to the functioning of small boxes (Ambraser Wappenkästchen). In my master’s thesis, I focused on the travelling equipment of the 13th century Franciscan monk William of Rubruck and examined, among other things, the actions that were carried out with the objects as well as the ‘paths of the objects’. This object-centred focus led me to the IMAREAL, where I will continue my research into materiality.
