As an art historian, I focus on book illumination and the visual culture of beauty and medicine. I am well versed in European Medieval and Early Modern History. My master’s thesis examined the symbolism of color in the Book of Hours of Mary of Burgundy in the political and religious context of the Burgundian and French courts. Currently, I am researching depictions of bathing in a medical context. At IMAREAL, I work on the REALonline image database and DiscoThings.
