Library

The Institute for Medieval and Early Modern Material Culture (IMAREAL) has a reference library consisting of approx. 25,000 research publications. The thematic orientation of the library is based on the main research areas of the institute: The book and journal holdings can be assigned to aspects of material culture as well as to the fields of archaeology, German literature studies, history, art history, theology and ethnography.
The holdings are recorded using the library software ALMA and the reference management and knowledge organization program Citavi. In addition to books and journals, individual articles are also recorded in Citavi.
Using Citavi, the entire library holdings can be searched, but such a search is only available at the institute.
The online catalogue of the Salzburg University library provides access to the titles of publications purchased since November 2012.
